Historical weather data for the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland is available to you via our comprehensive BWS Historical Database. For specific insurance/loss adjusting checking purposes; for measuring performance/sales/footfall against elements of the weather, or for any other kind of day to day weather related historical research, the easy t use BWS Database is at your fingertips.
The BWS Database is a password protected daily updated search-engine which, when a post code or location is entered, along with a date field, it will provide you with the available recorded/observed weather information, from January 2007 to the present day for the nearest station - and all stations that surround your requested site.
The Database contains most elements of recorded/reported weather, including mean wind speeds (knots), wind directions, maximum wind gusts (knots), precipitation totals (mm), maximum/minimum temperatures (deg C) and specific notes on severe weather such as hail/thunderstorms/floods - for well over 200 sites. The info is even colour coded green, amber, red – to designate degrees of severity and the chances of weather related damage to have occurred, for example.
